9th hackthon - Land Justice

• Jun. 21 The 9th g0v hackthon was held in IIS, Academia Sinica on June 21, 2014. 22 projects were proposed, covering various issues such as open data, policy surveillance, democracy participation, food safety, radiance map, citizen media and so on.  16 projects presented at the end, and the "Publicly Owned Properties on FIRE" project won the best project, voted by attendees.

• Jun. 17 fr0ntend-bridge hackthon was held by ly for beginners. The live streaming video was provided as well for online learning.

• Jun. 7 ipa was invited to be one of the speakers in the citizen forum: New media and press freedom in the internet era.  See also: Online Video
• Jun. 12 clkao, Co-founder of g0v gave 8 speeches in 6 countries during April to June. He hosted an event "Open Data x Open Gov x g0v" to share his experience and observation.  Scores of people attended and had an active discussion over the possibilities of Taiwan open data movement.  Notable attendees include Jaclyn Tsai, Minister without portfolio, who commented that gov needs to work closer with the g0v community in the future.  [slides]
• Jun. 13 UDN news article 張善政：市場調節 4G會降價 mentioned the discussion between the minister of Ministry of science and technology (MOST), Simon Chang, and g0v. "The government hope to reform the government organisation and data with the technique of g0v.", said Minister Chang.
